Online Crest Transfer Authority and Certificate Validation
Thank you for choosing the online portal to complete your certificated share sale.
This portal replaces the traditional paper-based process whereby you would need to sign your Crest Transfer Form and return it to MUFG Corporate Markets before we can process your sale and send your proceeds.
The portal can be used by sole shareholders, joint holders and executors.
To complete the process you will need:
- Your unique trade reference (found on your contract note/sales advice sent in the post)
- Your investor code (found on your contract note/sales advice sent in the post)
- Your certificate numbers and share amounts
- For joint holders, joint executors or appointed solicitors a completed and signed letter of authority. The form can be found HERE. Please note that forms not signed by ALL registered holders or executors will be rejected.
Please note your email address will only be used to send you confirmation once the process is complete, in the event of a query or should your bank details fail our Experian checks and we then require further account evidence. We are required to check all bank details to ensure we are not paying a third party, with the exception of appointed legal representatives.
Please note if you instruct cheque payment, the cheque will be made payable to all registered holders or executors. We cannot pay a cheque to a named holder.
Lost or misplaced certificates can be indemnified within the portal provided that:
- You are selling your entire holding
- The missing certificates are valued at less than £10,000
For missing certificates valued above £10,000 please call 0371 664 0445. You will not be able to complete your sale at this time.
If you do not wish to use the portal please download and complete your crest transfer form from https://sharedeal.cm.mpms.mufg.com/ and return it and your certificates to Central Square, 29 Wellington St, Leeds LS1 4DL
