Online Dealing Form

Who is it for?

The service is only available to private individuals (including registered personal representatives) resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man who wish to sell their common shares of Sun Life Financial Inc.

Selling shares held by a Deceased Shareholder:

Please note we cannot sell shares on a deceased account until the account has been updated with the grant of probate or MUFG Small Estates form. Please see https://www.mpms.mufg.com/en/for-individuals/uk/shareholders/bereavement-services/ for further details. Instructions to sell will be rejected if the death has not been registered.

Nominee Shareholders:

If you hold your shares in the UK Share Account ("the nominee") and wish to sell your shares through this Dealing Service, you must withdraw from the nominee. To do so, simply complete and sign the dealing instruction form through this portal.

Certificated Shareholders:

You must be in possession of your certificate to sell your shares. You will not be able to complete the process without it and instructions to sell will be rejected.

If you have lost or misplaced your share certificate(s) these will need to be replaced before you proceed with your sale request. To do so please contact Sunlifequeries@mpms.mufg.com who will guide you through the process. Please note there is a fee to replace your share certificate(s) and the process can take up to 12 weeks.

DRS Shareholders:

Please complete and sign the dealing instruction form through this portal.  You will need your investor code from your statement.

Selling your Shares:

All you need to do is complete the request to sell through the portal and upload your share certificate(s) and any necessary Letters of Authority.

Letters of Authority:

Joint shareholders, joint executors and appointed solicitors should download and complete a Letter of Authority if they wish to instruct MUFG Corporate Markets to make sole or directed payments.   The Authority can be uploaded in the portal.

If you need assistance or would like to be sent a printed version of the documents, please phone the helpline on 0345 602 1587 (lines are open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5.30pm) or email Sunlifequeries@mpms.mufg.com
